Call UsIs an online rent agreement legally valid in Maharashtra?
Yes. A rent agreement e-stamped and registered through the Maharashtra government's online registration system carries the same legal validity as one registered in person at the sub-registrar office.
How long does drafting and registration take?
Drafting is usually completed within a few hours of sharing your details. Once both parties e-sign, registration and police intimation typically complete within 1-2 working days.
What documents do I need?
Aadhaar and PAN for landlord and tenant, passport-size photos, and property proof such as an index-2 or society NOC. See our full Documents Required checklist.
Is stamp duty included in your pricing?
No — our prices are the service fee only. Government e-stamp duty and registration charges are calculated separately based on your rent, deposit and duration.
Do you provide police intimation?
Yes, included as part of our Premium plan and registration service across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
Is a notarized agreement enough, or do I need registration?
Notarization is faster but carries less legal weight; registration is strongly recommended for tenancies over a few months or higher rent value. See our dedicated pages comparing the two.
Can you help renew an agreement that's expiring?
